To find the best Pokemon booster box for your needs, consider the following major aspects before finalizing a purchase.
Price of the Booster Box
The price of the booster box is something you will need to take into consideration if you are trying to make money off of your boxes. A set like Unbroken Bonds may have Reshiram&CharizardGX, but costs almost twice as much as a more current booster box like Vivid Voltage.
A higher price payed for a box will significantly cut into your total profit when trying to make more money than you spend. A box like Unbroken Bonds may be better to hold onto later for a greater resell value.
Amount and Price of Money Cards in the Set
Some sets may have more noteworthy cards in them that have a higher average sale value than another set. A good example of this is the Vivid Voltage set. The secret rare PikachuVMAX is worth a lot of money compared to other cards in its series.
A set like Cosmic Eclipse has about 5 or 6 cards worth over 50 dollars which means you will have a higher chance of pulling valuable cards to get your money back.

Are Pokemon Booster Boxes Worth Buying?
Pokemon booster boxes are definitely worth buying. They are great if you are trying to build your Pokemon card collection, if you are trying to pull rare and valuable cards, and if you are going to hold onto the boxes to resell them for more money in the future.
If you are trying to make the most amount of money safely, then holding onto the booster boxes to resell them later in the future will yield the safest results.
Opening booster boxes and getting the super rare cards graded is also a great way to make money, but has much more risk as you are not guaranteed to get a very valuable card.
